The boat in the wind

The friends were in a boat, and the wind rose until they were afraid. The water slapped the sides and nobody felt brave.

Jesus was with them. He spoke to the storm as someone who is not hurried. The water went quiet.

Fear does not mean you are alone in the boat. Tonight, let the noise stay outside. Sleep. Peace may be the last word.
